GET TO KNOW THE CAST
Britt Ambruson (she/hers) is thrilled to make her Sullivan Rep debut! Based in Boston and also a licensed Architect, Britt has designed for higher education, arts, and residential spaces from Boston to Manhattan. When she's not performing, Britt is passionate about honing her craft and has recently trained at The Hanover Theatre & Conservatory, Groton Hill Music Center, Boston Dance Studios, and Steps on Broadway. She's had the pleasure of performing with THT Rep, Stadium Theatre, and AFD Theatre and is the resident set designer for The Treehouse Collective. Samir Bouchaiba (he/him) is a native of the Brockton, MA. Samir is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer whose most recent choreography credits include MEAN GIRLS, HADESTOWN, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, and THE PROM (Riverside Theatre Works). Growing up a competition kid and earning multiple regional and national titles, Samir now works on the event production side of the industry as a Director’s Assistant for OneBeat Dance brands, where he works on both their regional and nationals tours, producing dance competitions and conventions. A recent graduate of Emmanuel college, Samir is ecstatic to be making his post-baccalaureate performance debut at Sullivan Rep. While earning his degree, Samir did several shows including RENT, for which he won the EMACT DASH award for his performance as ANGEL. Samir would like to thank the cast and crew. Instagram: Samirb333
Bill Campbell (he/him) is excited to make his debut with Sullivan Rep. This will be his third musical after retiring from being a corporate tax professional for 35 years. Bill played General Waverley in White Christmas and was part of the ensemble in Anastasia. Both were with the Weston Friendly Society. Bill is so thankful for the support of his friends and family, especially his wife and pickleball partner, Karen.
Sean Donnelly (he/him) is currently living in Somerville, where he works as a bartender when not performing. In his free time he enjoys playing the piano, finding and drinking good coffee, and playing chess. Sean has performed with a variety of theatres in the Boston area, as well as in Virginia, including The Umbrella Stage Co., The Treehouse Collective, Firehouse Center for the Arts, The Company Theatre, Concord Players, Vokes Players, Hovey Players, Weston Friendly Society, Colonial Chorus Players, Brian Clowdus Experiences, and The Wayne Theatre. He is thrilled to return to the stage with Sullivan Rep alongside this stellar cast and crew. Many thanks to friends and family for your enduring support!
Grace Etzkorn (she/her) a midwestern girl at heart, Grace has called Boston home for 5+ years. When she’s not pursuing theatre or taking on yet another side gig, you can find her working in advertising, teaching fitness classes, or singing at nursing homes. She peaked at age 10 when she was cast in the 30th Anniversary National Tour of ANNIE. Her next peak was appearing in ANNIE with Sullivan Rep last season at age 27. Carly Evans (she/her) is thrilled to be performing with Sullivan Rep once again. She is a resident of Sudbury, where she teaches English and drama at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, and runs the LSB Players, the school's extracurricular theatre program. Carly has a BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and an MA in Theatre Education from Emerson College, which really just means she spends a lot of time bouncing back and forth between onstage and off. She has performed, directed, and taught at various theatres and schools across New England and New York, including and especially at Concord Youth Theatre, where she grew up as a young performer way back when! She is incredibly grateful, as always, to her husband Ryan and her three amazing kiddos, Ethan, Miles, and Stella, for their unwavering support and encouragement. And thank you, Danny, for seeing me better than I can ever see myself!
Will Fafard, jr. (he/him) resides in Salem Massachusetts, where he currently works as a swim instructor, restaurant manager, and special effects makeup artist! From a very young age, Will has been perusing a career in theatre and dance. After graduating high school and spending 21 years training, He immediately started work as an actor and teacher and is now credited in many theaters and dance studio’s in New England for Choreography and Instruction. On stage, Will has worked with many theaters and companies such as Weston Friendly Society, Theatre Company of Saugus, North Shore Music Theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse, Marblehead Little Theatre, PDP, And is so grateful and delighted to be joining Sullivan Rep. Caroline Granahan (she/her) resides in Sudbury with her fiancé and their dog, Jack. By day, she is a School Adjustment Counselor at Pine Hill Elementary School in Sherborn, and in her free time she enjoys reading, running, and listening to podcasts. Caroline adores Sullivan Rep and is so thrilled to be back for her third production with them, after appearing in Steel Pier and Hairspray. She has also performed with the Concord Players and the Weston Friendly Society. She sends her love to the South Carolinians and, of course, to Graham, who will likely be at every performance.
Kevin Hanley (he/him) is excited to close out his first season as a Sullivan Rep Company Member with Can-Can! A Framingham resident, Kevin has been performing throughout New England his whole career. Outside of theater, Kevin works at Harvard University as a Training Program Manager for their Environmental Health and Safety department. Previous theater involvment includes Moonbox Productions, Longwood Players, Bad Habit, and more. Special thanks, as always, to Chris for being so supportive through all of these theater endeavors.
Caroline Hubbard (she/her) is a lifelong resident of Boston, Massachusetts. She currently teaches math and drama at the Brighton School in Framingham. When she is not working or doing theatre, she's lifting weights or riding roller coasters. Caroline's favorite roles include Louise in Carousel (SLOC), Bridget Bishop in Cry Innocent (History Alive, Inc.), and Casandra in Trojan Women (Studio 506 Theatre). She has dance captained two productions of Pippin (AFD and A Common Thread) and Something Rotten! (Theatre III) and appeared in the dance ensemble for Curtains (Weston Friendly Society). Look forward to the spring when Caroline will choreograph Nice Work if You Can Get it at Theatre III!
Holly Inman (she/her) is from Middleton, MA where she grew up alongside the cows of Richardson's Ice Cream. Her performance journey began with dancing as a toddler and has yet to stop! Her love for dance led her to earn a B.A in Dance and an M.A in Clinical Mental Health Counseling/Dance Movement Therapy. When not on stage, Holly is a clinician at a residential program for teens. Since joining the theatre scene in 2017, Holly has performed with several local theatres including Marblehead Little Theatre, Weston Friendly Society, Vokes Players, Firehouse Center for the Arts and many others. Holly would like to dedicate this performance to her sweetest supporter, Erik, whom she attended Sullivan Rep's Steel Pier with as their first date.
Denali Kikuchi (she/her) a native of Rhode Island, Denali now lives outside of Boston with her cat, Aki, and her fiancé, and works as a programs administrator at a PK-8th grade independent school. In addition to theater, Denali is a musician trained in piano, violin, viola, saxophone, and guitar. Previously, Denali has performed on the stages of Rhode Island Youth Theater (formerly Fantasy Works), Encore Repertory Company, Weston Friendly Society, and the Providence Improv Guild. Excited to be making her debut with Sullivan Rep, Denali thanks the production team and cast for the experience, and thanks her parents and Adam for being her biggest fans.
Mackenzie LeTorre (he/him) lives in Dorchester, but was raised in Brockton. He works in Cambridge as a Business Manager and Facilities Coordinator at an independent school. MacKenzie has experience performing with Roxbury Center for the Performing Arts “A Major Dance Company”, Riverside Theater Works, Needham Community Theatre, The Milton Players, Ballets Ruses “The Slutcracker”, and of course, Sullivan Rep. Alicia Love (she/her) is from Saint Louis, Missouri, but currently resides in Waltham, Massachusetts. She works full time with Boston Ballet School as their Student Services Specialist. She also teaches at On Your Toes Dance Theatre in Acton, MA. Alicia graduated in May of 2023 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance with a specialty in contemporary from Lindenwood University. During her time there, Alicia performed at The Big Muddy Dance Festival, Detroit Dance City Festival, the American Collegiate Dance Association, and the Fall, Winter, and Spring Concerts at Lindenwood. After graduation, Alicia spent her summer in Becket, Massachusetts as a production intern for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. During her time in Massachusetts, Alicia performed in the dance ensemble for Sullivan Rep’s Steele Pier, Hairspray, and Weston Friendly Society’s Curtains. A.J. Lyman (he/him) currently resides in Newton where he works at Tufts University. At Tufts, AJ works in the StAAR Center supporting students with disabilities in the process of exploring accommodations as an Accessibility Specialist. In addition to appearing in previous Sullivan Rep productions, AJ has also performed with The Vokes Theatre, The Concord Players and The Footlight Club. Instagram: @ajlyman30. Jessica Ober (she/her) currently lives in Waltham, a short drive from where she was raised in Weston. She teaches sixth grade math in Arlington, where she loves to tap around the classroom in addition to sharing her love of math. She has performed with both Weston Friendly Society and Riverside Theatre Works, including A Chorus Line at both theaters (her favorite show). She is thrilled to be performing with Sullivan Rep again, having appeared in season one’s Steel Pier and season two's Hairspray, and is excited for another Daniel Forest Sullivan dance show!
Robert Orzalli (he/him) moved a lot growing up, living in 6 states before graduating high school in Silverdale, WA, until settling in the Boston area after graduating from Brandeis University. Now at his longest address in East Boston, he works as a Quality Assurance Engineer for Veeva Systems, testing software for participants in clinical trials. Outside of theatre, Robert enjoys weightlifting, board games, reading comics, and is an Oscar-obsessive (has seen 83% of all-time best picture nominees). Robert started acting with CSTOCK (Central Stage Theatre of County Kitsap) while in high school. He has performed with Norton Singers, Weston Friendly Society, Walpole Footlighters, Moonbox Productions, Vokes Players, Hub Theatre Company of Boston, Reagle Music Theatre, Company Theatre, Zeitgeist Stage Company, and New Rep Theatre. Melissa Paz (she/her) is a Miami-born, Boston-based artist. Outside of performing, she works in college student mental health. Melissa has had the pleasure of working with various theaters in the Boston area, including Reagle Music Theatre, Weston Friendly Society, Treehouse Collective, and The Footlight Club. Endless gratitude to Sullivan Rep for the opportunity to perform alongside such a hardworking and kind group of people. There aren’t enough thank you's in the world for her family, who she misses every day, and her friends for relentlessly showing up.
Dom Pappagallo (he/him) was born and raised in Malden, MA where he started his theatre journey in high school as the title ogre in Shrek: The Musical and never looked back. Dom works at Fenway Park as a tour guide most days and has spent each of the last three summers at Reagle Music Theatre with their youth education program! Dom has been performing around the Massachusetts area for about three years now, making appearances at Riverside Theatre Works, Marblehead Little Theatre, Theatre Company of Saugus, Reagle Music Theatre and most recently in "The Prom" at The Footlight Club! Ryan Pereira (he/him) currently lives in his hometown of Waltham, MA, where he grew up performing with Reagle Music Theater, Watertown Children’s Theater, Waltham’s “Music Unlimited” Show Choir, as well as the yearly school musicals. This past spring, he graduated with a double major in Drama and Film Studies and Production from Hofstra University, where he played roles such as Whizzer (Falsettos), Wayne Frake (State Fair), Claudio (Much Ado About Nothing), and many more. Anthony Rinaldi (he/him) resides in Boston where he manages toxicology drug safety studies for Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Outside from science, he likes to spend his time baking for family and friends while crawling his way through video games and completing various must-watch movie lists. Though Anthony is excited to return to Sullivan Rep, he also had the pleasure of performing with Theatre Uncorked, Footlight Club, Riverside Theatre Works, Arlington Friends of the Drama, Milton Players, Mass Arts Center, and Norton Singers. Andy Ross (he/him) resides in Medway where he has lived his entire life. Andy works in Alternative Fund Services at Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston, a company he has been with for almost 12 years. Other than theater, Andy fills his spare time playing with his dog and playing soccer as much as possible. Andy is excited to be making his Sullivan Rep debut! He has previously performed with Weston Friendly Society, Enter Stage Left Theater, & Moonstruck Theater Company. Andy wants to thank his wife, family, & friends for continuing to support him in his theater endeavors.
Hannah Shihdanian (she/her) grew up in Waltham and currently is living in Watertown. She is the Founder of Hannah’s Dance Community LLC which is a community for dance, fitness, and activism! She is also a certified EDI Consultant (through Inclusive Stages), and a freelance performer! Hannah’s favorite role she’s played is “Mom” to her three kids! She has had the pleasure of working with the A.R.T., Lyric Stage, Reagle Music Theatre, Greater Boston Stage Company, The Umbrella Stage Company, and others. Bridget Sullivan (she/her) is thrilled to return to the Sullivan Rep stage, this time in Dedham. Originally from and currently residing in Wellesley, MA, she has moved around the state throughout her life. During the day Bridget can be found dog walking, wig designing, set designing/painting or choreographing. She currently serves as the Production Coordinator for The Weston Friendly Society of the Performing Arts. Bridgets past favorite theatrical endeavors have been on stage and behind the scenes at The Weston Friendly Society, having performed, choreographed, stage managed, set painted and wig designed for many of their productions. Favorites have included Curtains (Bambi/Wig Design/Set Painting), White Christmas (Judy/Wig Design/Set Painting), A Chorus Line (Judy) and The Sound of Music (Choreography/Wig Design/Set Painting) as well as Steel Pier (Precious McGuire) at Sullivan Rep. Thank you to MDDJNSOA for all of their love and support throughout this process and life itself.
Laura Headrick Sweder (she/her) is excited and grateful to be joining this amazing cast of Can-Can, after playing Bette Becker in Sullivan Rep’s inaugural production, Steel Pier. Laura lives in Waltham, where she not only grew up, but is also a long-time educator, choreographer, and coach. Laura’s other full-time job, and absolute favorite role, is mom to Libby, Daniel, and Caroline. Laura has been performing and working in Boston area theater and dance since early childhood, most especially with Reagle Music Theatre and Weston Friendly Society. Laura deeply appreciates her loved ones for supporting her and picking up the slack at home so she can-can join in the Sullivan Rep fun!!
GET TO KNOW THE TEAM
Daniel Sullivan he/him is honored to be the Artistic Director of Sullivan Rep, a life long dream come true, and to be opening season two with such a powerful and needed show. A director, choreographer, costumer, and performer, Dan has worked at theaters throughout New England including Goodspeed Opera House, Lyric Stage Company, Reagle Music Theater, Moonbox Productions, Wheelock Family Theater, and Seacoast Repertory Theatre. He has performed in theaters across the country as Dance Captain/Ensemble with the National/International tour of Annie, performing in Singapore, and Jakarta as well. For the past 10 years, Dan has served as the Artistic Director of The Weston Friendly Society, the second oldest community theater in the country. There he became a two time Moss Hart Award Winner celebrating ‘outstanding theatrical productions’ for White Christmas(2013), and Annie(2018). He received DASH Awards for his choreography of Chicago with Vokes Theater, and A Chorus Line and White Christmas with Weston Friendly Society. He is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theater. Dan is grateful for the opportunity to put all his different disciplines to use, and looks forward to continuing to create a professional community for artists who have other professions.
Hollis W. Sullivan (she/her) has been involved with theater in some way for most of her life. She started in school plays and then summer theater and community theater and gradually worked her way up to accompanist, music director and director. This spring will mark a span of 50 years for her involvement with the Weston Friendly Society. She first worked with WFS when her parents were in the cast and now continues to participate in various ways alongside some of her children. She enjoys partnering on shows with her son, Daniel, and is delighted to revisit Cole Porter’s Can-Can with him, having accompanied a production he was in many years ago at the Weston Drama Workshop. A two-time recipient of the Moss Hart Award and a DASH award nominee, Holly enjoys all aspects of theater, particularly when it’s a family or multi-generational affair. By day Holly is the Music Teacher and Drama Director at Our Lady’s Academy in Waltham where she started their theater program two years ago. She is delighted to be working with the talented cast and crew of Can-Can and hopes you all enjoy the show. Love to D, J, B & N.
Colleen Locke (she/her) returns to Sullivan Rep after stage managing Company. Colleen grew up doing theatre with her dad in Western New York. When she was six, she was on book and turned the rehearsal accompanist’s pages (on the head nod!) for the production of 1776 that her dad directed, so it is a pleasure to have her dad and mom in the audience for their first SR show! Colleen is the director of digital marketing for UMass Chan Medical School’s Office of Communications, a Buffalo Bills fan and a NASCAR fan. She has performed on stage and been backstage for Theatre III (West Acton), the Weston Friendly Society, Arlington Friends of the Drama, Washington Street Players (Holliston), Needham Community Theatre, Belmont Dramatic Club, Ashland Community Theater and A Common Thread Theatre Company (Framingham). She loves a good spreadsheet.
John Sullivan (he/him) has had a career in carpentry for over the past 30 years. He has built sets for his family all throughout the years for school and home shows alike, and has built the sets for Weston Friendly Society for over the past 10 years. He is thrilled to be back at Sullivan Rep closing out season two with Can-Can!
Erik Fox (he/him) is primarily the Lighting Supervisor and resident Lighting Designer for The Groton School for the past 15 years. Over the years he has been the resident designer for the Jeanette Neil dance studio, and Firebeat dance studio. His work has also been featured in productions at various academic institutions including Framingham State University, Worcester State University, and the Noble and Greenough School. Professionally his work has been featured at Speakeasy Stage Company, the Cape Playhouse, the Redhouse Theater, and most recently with Theater Uncorked. He has received multiple DASH awards for Best Lighting Design including the Weston Friendly Society production of A Chorus Line and the Longwood Players production of Urinetown. Rick Grenier (he/him) grew up in Franklin MA and currently lives in Stoughton MA with husband Lou and husky Dexter. When not pursing his next theatrical undertaking, Rick has worked at Harvard University over the past 18 years where he is currently a Senior Systems Analyst. Theater was always a part of Rick's life from 4th grade (where his first role was the Pirate King!) all through college and his early life. Rick returned to the theater after an almost 20 year hiatus in a production of Sweeney Todd at Woodland Theatre Company where he first met Dan and the rest is history! Since that fateful meeting, Rick has performed in many roles exclusively at Weston Friendly Society where he also now serves as President of the Board of Directors. He has created properties for WFS for many years and has also designed for Reagle Music Theater. Rick is honored to be a part of Sullivan Reps season two!
