GET TO KNOW THE CAST
Stephanie Barney (she/her) is a MA native with a BA in Musical Theatre from Rhode Island College. Recent credits include Lizzie (u/s Emma & Bridget), The Full Monty (Pam Lukowski), Network (u/s Diane and Schlesinger), and Julius Caesar (Marullus, u/s Julius Caesar).
Essie Bertain (she/her) is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She is thrilled to be joining Sullivan Rep again, after appearing as Mick's Pick's in "Steel Pier" last year. Before moving to Boston, Essie taught voice and piano lessons for almost a decade in Portland, Oregon. She is an accomplished and award-winning performer, having performed regionally in Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, and New England. Some of her favorite roles include Nina in Stumptown Stages "In the Heights," Woman 1 in Beaverton Civic Theater's "Songs for a New World," and as the Witch in ACON's "Into the Woods." In her spare time, Essie enjoys long-distance running and spending time with her husband, Allen, and their pets.
Carly Evans (she/her) grew up in Sudbury, MA, where she currently lives with her husband and three children. When she's not onstage, you can still find her performing - as an English and drama teacher, and head of the drama program at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. In her pre-motherhood performance life, she had the great pleasure of performing with the Concord Players, Theatre III, Flyleaf Theatre Company, Image Theater, and Saxtons River Playhouse in Vermont. She is eternally grateful to Danny, for giving her the opportunity to hop onto this side of the stage again, and to Ryan, Ethan, Miles, and Stella, for being willing to share her with others!
Kevin Hanley (he/him) is excited to be back on the Sullivan Rep stage after performing as Bill Kelly in the company's first show ever, Steel Pier. A Framingham resident, Kevin has been performing throughout New England his whole career. Outside of theater, Kevin works at Harvard University as a Training Program Manager for their Environmental Health and Safety department. Previous theater involvment includes Moonbox Productions, Longwood Players, Bad Habit, and more. Special thanks, as always, to Chris for being so supportive through all of these theater endeavors.
Brian Higgins (he/him) is originally from Westborough, MA, though now hails from Northborough. Offstage, he works as a part of the IT team at Bright Horizons as the Virtual Event Producer; he is is also a theme park enthusiast (and Disney adult), an improv comedian, a hobbyist photographer, a novice crocheter, a daily Wordle player, an AMC A-Lister, and a doting uncle to Devin, Ethan, Jillian, and Josie. Brian grew up doing theater in the Westborough Public Schools and at Weston Drama Workshop under the direction of Dave Seaman, who instilled in him from an early age a love of Sondheim and the value of empathy; since then, he was honored to perform as a Company Member for Sullivan Rep’s first season. Brian has also performed with the Woodland Theatre Company, the Weston Friendly Society, the Vokes Players, the Concord Players, and the Westborough Players’ Club, amongst others.

Samantha Vazquez MacPhee (she/her) resides in Marlborough were she lives with her husband and two beautiful children. Samantha has always had a love for theatre both on and off stage. She has had the privilege of working alongside the Sullivan family at Weston Friendly Society during the production of "Curtains" and again for Sullivan Rep as stage manager for "A Little Night Music" & child wrangler for "Annie". Samantha is so excited for yet another opportunity to work with Sullivan Rep in their production of "Company". Thank you for the continuous love and support MGTFSJ
Chantel O'Brien (she/her) is thrilled to be back at Sullivan Rep, having just performed in Hairspray in February. Theater credits include Rent (Joanne, Riverside Theater Works), Stepping Out (Rose, The Footlight Club), A Chorus Line (Diana, Riverside Theater Works) Freaky Friday (Katherine, Mass Arts Center), Hot Mikado (Katisha, Belmont Dramatic Club), Shrek the Musical (Dragon, The Wellesley Players), Titanic the Musical (Madame Aubert, Little Theater of Fall River), and Hairspray (Lorraine/Ensemble, New Bedford Festival Theatre). Chantel received her Bachelors in Classical Voice from Ohio Wesleyan University, and works full time as the Senior Visas and Compliance Manager at Hult International Business School in Cambridge, where she also recently received her MBA in Management. Thanks to director Dan for letting me live out this dream role, the whole cast and crew for their hard work and dedication to the craft, and, of course, thanks to my husband, Kris, for being my biggest fan and advocate.
Ray O'Hare (he/him) is happy to be making his Sullivan Rep debut! He has performed locally with Wheelock Family Theatre, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Moonboox Productions among others, and was an original cast member in the world premeire of "Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol" at Boston's Colonial Theatre in 2019. Most important roles: Husband to Jamie and Father to Robin.
Robert Orzalli (he/him) moved a lot growing up, living in 6 states before graduating high school in Silverdale, WA, until settling in the Boston area after graduating from Brandeis University. Now at his longest address in East Boston, he works as a Quality Assurance Engineer for Veeva Systems, testing software for participants in clinical trials. Outside of theatre, Robert enjoys weightlifting, board games, reading comics, and is an Oscar-obsessive (has seen 83% of all-time best picture nominees). Robert started acting with CSTOCK (Central Stage Theatre of County Kitsap) while in high school. He has performed with Weston Friendly Society, Walpole Footlighters, Moonbox Productions, Vokes Players, Hub Theatre Company of Boston, Reagle Music Theatre, Company Theatre, Zeitgeist Stage Company, and New Rep Theatre. Dom Pappagallo (he/him) is super excited to join Sullivan Rep for the first time! Dom was last seen in the summer at Reagle Music Theatre for South Pacific (Swing), All Shook Up (Sheriff Earl), and An American in Paris (Mr. Z). Favorite past roles include The Wedding Singer (Robbie Hart), Urinetown (Bobby Strong), and Joseph… Dreamcoat (Joseph) with various community theaters around Greater Boston. Dom would like to thank the Sullivan team for welcoming him in and his wildly supportive family and friends!
Melissa Paz (she/her) is a Miami-born/Boston-based artist. Outside of performing, she works in college student mental health. Melissa has had the pleasure of working with various theaters in the Boston area, including Reagle Music Theatre, Weston Friendly Society, Treehouse Collective, The Footlight Club, Vokes Theater, and Company Theater. She's grateful to come back to Sullivan Rep this season alongside a group of incredible artists. Huge thanks to her family and friends for being the best cheerleaders!
Tyler Pilkington - Sperry (he/him) is thrilled to be back at Sullivan Rep for their second season! He appeared as Buddy Becker in last season's production of Steel Pier. Tyler lives in Framingham, MA, with his best friend and husband of 12 years. When not working or performing, Tyler and his husband love to travel the world. Soon, they will achieve their goal of visiting all 50 US states and all seven continents. Tyler is a classically trained ballet dancer and danced for 12 years as a principal dancer with the Portland Ballet Company. Some of his favorite ballet roles include The Nutcracker Prince (Nutcracker), Hilarion (Giselle), The Manticore (The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and The Manticore), and Principle Soloist in Carmina Burana. His favorite theater roles include Monique (La Cage), Bobby (ACL), Mike (ACL), Phil Davis (White Christmas), Ensemble (EVITA), Tulsa (Gypsy), Fred Casely (Chicago), and KitKat Boy (Cabaret). Tyler would like to thank his family (especially JP) for their love and support!
Meghan Rose (she/her) is making her Sullivan Rep Debut! Broadway National Tour: Annie (Star to Be, Lily St. Regis u/s) Regional Favorite Credits: Funny Girl (Fanny Brice), Chicago (Roxie), A Chorus Line (Maggie), Into the Woods (Cinderella). Film and TV: Law and Order: SVU, Hulu's The Path, CBS' Elementary. She is a graduate of UArts' Musical Theatre BFA program. A passionate educator, Meghan has led masterclasses for Broadway Connection in over 30 US cities and is the Director of Friendly Kids of Weston. Born with one hand, she is a dedicated speaker for Helping Hands where she encourages differently-abled children to pursue their dreams, too. Dana R. Sullivan (she/her) is thrilled to make her debut with Sullivan Rep! Dana recently relocated to Newton from Boston where she enjoys life with her fluffy Samoyed, Blue Bear (and fondly remembers her late companions, Brigitte Barkdot and Harvard Dangerfield). A graduate of the Hartt School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, Dana's passion for health and service led her to pursue a BS in Nursing, an MSN in Pediatrics, and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner board certification. She currently serves as a community health nurse for the Town of Wayland within the public school system. When she's not working or performing, Dana enjoys teaching Pilates, training with Blue Bear toward new AKC titles, and volunteering with the nonprofit organization Otherworld, helping people unlock their heroic potential (www.otherworld.org). Dana is a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and regularly performs with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Boston Pops. Daniel Forest Sullivan (he/him) is honored to be the Artistic Director of Sullivan Rep, a life long dream come true, and to be appearing onstage for the first time at Sullivan Rep. A director, choreographer, costumer, and performer, Dan has worked at theaters throughout New England including Goodspeed Opera House, Lyric Stage Company, Reagle Music Theater, Moonbox Productions, Wheelock Family Theater, and Seacoast Repertory Theatre. He has performed in theaters across the country as Dance Captain/Ensemble with the National/International tour of Annie, performing in Singapore, and Jakarta as well. For the past 10 years, Dan has served as the Artistic Director of The Weston Friendly Society, the second oldest community theater in the country. There he became a two time Moss Hart Award Winner celebrating ‘outstanding theatrical productions’ for White Christmas(2013), and Annie(2018). He received DASH Awards for his choreography of Chicago with Vokes Theater, and A Chorus Line and White Christmas with Weston Friendly Society. He is a graduate of the Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theater. Dan is grateful for the opportunity to put all his different disciplines to use, and looks forward to continuing to create a professional community for artists who have other professions.
Veronica Anastasio Wiseman (she/her) is excited to be back at Sullivan Rep, having appeared in last season's A Little Night Music. Veronica lives in Sharon with her husband Howard. Together they have five grown children. She has a BFA in Acting from Boston University and an MA in Speech Pathology from UMASS Amherst. Veronica is president of the board of Sharon TV where she has been an active volunteer for twenty years, hosting and producing hundreds of shows. She has served on the Sharon School Committee for over a decade. Veronica has performed with Woodland Theatre, Weston Friendly Society, Bad Habit, Bridge Rep, The Footlights Club, Commonwealth Shakespeare, Gloucester Stage, Central Square, Company One, Fresh Ink, THT Rep and she is an affiliated artist with Sleeping Weazel. Andrew Wray (he/him) is a proud resident of Medford. He taught choral and general music in public schools for 14 years but is currently living the gigging life as a freelance music director and accompanist. Outside of these roles, Andrew enjoys going on epic day hikes, testing his wits at trivia and crosswords, and playing with his rock band, Mixed G. He has music-directed shows for the public schools of Medford and Dedham, as well as Colonial Chorus Players, Weston Friendly Society, Watertown Children’s Theatre, Walpole High School, and ArtWorks at Waring. He has never been on social media, so don’t go looking for him there.
Colleen Locke (she/her) returns to Sullivan Rep after running the lighting board for Hairspray. Colleen grew up doing theatre with her dad in Western New York. When she was six, she was on book and turned the rehearsal accompanist’s pages (on the head nod!) for the production of 1776 that her dad directed, so it is a pleasure to have her dad and mom in the audience for their first SR show! Colleen is the director of digital marketing for UMass Chan Medical School’s Office of Communications, a Buffalo Bills fan and a NASCAR fan. She has performed on stage and been backstage for Theatre III (West Acton), the Weston Friendly Society, Arlington Friends of the Drama, Washington Street Players (Holliston), Needham Community Theatre, Belmont Dramatic Club, Ashland Community Theater and A Common Thread Theatre Company (Framingham). She loves a good spreadsheet.
John Sullivan (he/him) has had a career in carpentry for over the past 30 years. He has built sets for his family all throughout the years for school and home shows alike, and has built the sets for Weston Friendly Society for over the past 10 years. He is happy to work on another show with his kids at Sullivan Rep!
Erik Fox (he/him) is primarily the Lighting Supervisor and resident Lighting Designer for The Groton School for the past 15 years. Over the years he has been the resident designer for the Jeanette Neil dance studio, and Firebeat dance studio. His work has also been featured in productions at various academic institutions including Framingham State University, Worcester State University, and the Noble and Greenough School. Professionally his work has been featured at Speakeasy Stage Company, the Cape Playhouse, the Redhouse Theater, and most recently with Theater Uncorked. He has received multiple DASH awards for Best Lighting Design including the Weston Friendly Society production of A Chorus Line and the Longwood Players production of Urinetown. Bridget Sullivan (she/her) is originally from and resides in Wellesley, MA, having moved around the state throughout her life. During the day Bridget can be found painting houses and sets, designing wigs, dog walking or tech directing children’s theater. She currently serves on the board of The Weston Friendly Society as their Publicity Chair. Bridgets past favorite theatrical endeavors have been on stage and behind the scenes at The Weston Friendly Society, having performed, stage managed, set painted and wig designed for many of their productions. Favorites have included White Christmas (Judy/Wig Design/Set Painting), A Chorus Line (Judy) and The Sound of Music (Choreography/Wig Design/Set Painting). Kristian Espiritu (she/them) is a Boston-based queer Filipinx artist from NYC whose family hails from the island of Luzon, Philippines. They are an actor, singer, newly certified intimacy professional, as well as a fiber artist and owner of a small business, How Bout Knot, where you can find her original pieces, home goods and accessories. Judi Olson (she/her) grew up mainly in Framingham, MA, moved away, and has now returned to reside in Marlborough with her two cats. Having recently returned from NYU Abu Dhabi where she built and ran the costume shop for the Theater and Visual Arts Programs, Judi now works at College of the Holy Cross in yet another costume shop. Judi has never met a fiber craft she didn’t like, but recently she has recommitted to getting back on stage after so many years in a supporting role. Judi has had the great pleasure to perform with Weston Friendly, The Concord Players, Theater Mitu, Abu Dhabi Choral Group, and now Sullivan Rep! Many thanks to her whole family without whom none of this would be possible, and to her most enthusiastic and shortest supporters - Rose, Iris, Howard (children), Chester and Noah (cats).
Holly Sullivan (she/her) is overjoyed to be a working on another production in Sullivan Rep's second season. Originally from Weston, she now resides in Waltham where she teaches music to grades K-8. She has worked for more than 40 years at The Weston Friendly Society in many roles including direction, musical direction, costuming, dressing, and performing. She is a mom to four kids, loving the chance to work with three of them on yet another show.
Rick Grenier (he/him) grew up in Franklin MA and currently lives in Stoughton MA with husband Lou and husky Dexter. When not pursing his next theatrical undertaking, Rick has worked at Harvard University over the past 18 years where he is currently a Senior Systems Analyst. Theater was always a part of Rick's life from 4th grade (where his first role was the Pirate King!) all through college and his early life. Rick returned to the theater after an almost 20 year hiatus in a production of Sweeney Todd at Woodland Theatre Company where he first met Dan and the rest is history! Since that fateful meeting, Rick has performed in many roles exclusively at Weston Friendly Society where he also now serves as President of the Board of Directors. He has created properties for WFS for many years and has also designed for Reagle Music Theater. Rick is honored to be back again with Sullivan Rep!
